Halloween Night I dressed the dogs - and took the them and the kids Trick or Treating. We had a blast.
Check Neptune out - After coming back home, she can't even lift her head she is so exhausted.
Scarlett - as a sugar skull, Lily as a cat in the background drinking water. And Neptune as a pumpkin. |
Since I walk the dogs everyday I was really surprised. Maybe being a pumpkin is much harder than I think. (LOL) I love wearing her out!
So I put that baby to bed.
I had to stop quilting on Tuesday to sew patches on Troy's Boy Scout uniform. I only had about 10 minutes as his meeting was that night.
He ran in the house, grabbed his shirt and said "gotta go Grandma - bye". Boys gotta love them!
I quilted another border - forgot to take a picture. (darn!) And I've been working on more designs.

(Decide I don't like this one after all.)
When I have time I'll continue quilting on it.
First I have 70 ft of 3 rail wood fence to haul away and rebuild.
Hard to work when you want to quilt.

Please don't tell me about fence being fixed! I have one more to put up - ahem- before the rain starts and a paddock to enclose.
ReplyDeleteIt seems I am doing more sewing than work these days!
Love the dogs! And your quilt designs!
We have a little area of fence to fix too~ seems never ending! Your quilt is going to be gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSo I guess you don't want to hear that I just returned from a four day retreat?!? Nothing but quilting, eating, talking, and laughing. Sorry you were stuck in the real world while I was away. LOL!
ReplyDeleteSo you tired out the puppy!! I don't think they get as excited about Trick or Treating as our kids do!! :-) And the fencing: wow!! That is going to be quite a job!! Good luck and I wish you strong arms for that effort!! How are you doing, and how is the business going? Have a good week!! Hugs, H
