FNWF - It's going to happen!

I've been trying to get the excess dye out of my fabric for TWO weeks now.  Grrrr
I want to use the blue to bind my turtle quilt.

I've had my border cut and ready to go this whole time - just waiting for the fabric to stabilize.

So tonight is the NIGHT  - It's FNWF with Gone Stitchin'
and I'm going to do this binding - ready or not!

So let's go have fun!
Happy Stitching,
Linda

  2. I had some fabric like that: I just finally gave up and shelved it. Don't know where it is now! :-) They say try washing it with Color Catchers. They are supposed to capture all the excess color so it doesn't go into your other fabric. Maybe that would help? Have fun sewing tonight!! Hugs, H

  4. Two weeks good grief! Try adding white vinegar, or salt to keep it from bleeding. I can't wait to see the finish on this one, it's so gorgeous!

  12. The turtle quilt is lovely. Did you use bias strips for the binding (I read that post first and am now getting to the quilt).
