Christmas Quilts

Have you noticed that the radio is playing Christmas music?

That must mean it's time for Christmas Quilts

Get off the quilt doggie - I want to show if off to everyone!

If you are new to this blog - this is my husband's first quilt. (I'm very proud of him.)

I wanted one to replace the first quilt I ever made.  Which also happens to be a Christmas Quilt.  How funny is that? Both of our first quilts are Christmas quilts.

Do you see where a puppy chewed that corner?
The new Christmas Quilt won't really replace this one.  I could never give it up.
Too many years of being cozy warm under it - and how else could I remember what a little rumbustious, funny, adorable puppy Neptune used to be?

I hope you have some nice cuddly quilts to enjoy this winter.

Be sure and check out the rest of the quilt at Sewcalgal Christmas Quilt Show

Merry Christmas,
Linda

  9. Oh my gosh, your hubby did a wonderful job on his Christmas Quilt. I love the design! I really wish I could get my hubby to try quilting. We are retired and he gets so very bored during our long cold Utah winters. I have a second machine, a very old Singer that sounds like a freight train but sews like a dream. But if he wanted to give piecing blocks a try, I would certainly let him use my newer machine. He just has no interest in it...but your hubby's great quilt has inspired me to keep trying to talk mine into at least giving it a chance. Hugs...

Well yes I am but that's not the point. How lovely to be able to share your hobby together... though I am not so sure I would want to share my fabric ... ROFL. xx
