with some leaves and circles.
I also got my binding ready. It's sitting on top my new ironing board cover. I love that new cover my sister gave me for Christmas. If you need a new cover, you got to get you a sister like mine, who will give you gifts that make you so happy!!
I love hand sewing on the binding so I'll finish that up while watching TV tonight.
Just for the fun of it here's the back. I did much better than I thought I would.
I also worked on the Pat Sloan Mystery Quilt.
Here are the fabrics I picked out. The lightest one has sparkles.
I sewed up the background. Do you all think I should take out that dark fabric and just use light ones?

Your work is wonderful, but boy have you been busy!

What a cool idea to stitch your name into the quilt... love the leaves & loops border... lovely work!
ReplyDeleteWay to go! I love how you stitched your name on the quilt. I really love your fabric for Pat Sloan's mystery. I love the dark fabric with your blues. Really cool. Not sure what's going on the background so hard to say. The dark does sort of stick out a bit, but that might be okay. I cut wrong at night, too. At least you cut it too big and can trim it down (instead of too small!). Haha! Great job on all your quilting!
ReplyDeleteHey-- I can cut wrong in the morning -- afternoon -- evening--any ole time is a good time for me to cut wrong!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove those fabrics for the mystery quilt--can't wait to see how that comes along!!!
good job on the projects for the sew-in!!

Wow! Such a fabulous job. You should really pat yourself on that back, and do a happy dance all week! I can't wait to see with the binding on.
ReplyDeleteHappy Dance - Happy Dance! Your quilt is B-E-A-utiful!! Love it, love it! So fun to get to the last part - the binding. Can't wait to see your mystery quilt!
