Friday night I was bound and determined to get this quilt quilted.
And I did!! I put leaves in the lavender border. I think that turned out nice. And I also got the binding on and started sewing it down too. Good work for Friday and Saturday. I hope to work on it a bit more tonight. I have my Sewful Sister's meeting along, so I may not be able to finish it up.
Sorry the picture is a bit blurry - I didn't have an opportunity to take another one.
And I finished one more of my CW blocks - Yay!
We took our granddaughter's out for lunch. Only a kid would have the cheese strung from their mouth to the food on the table. At least they know how to have fun - even at a place like Del Taco.
Have fun tonight whether you are sewing or eating cheese or doing something else!

I can't wait to see more pics of your quilt. Looks like you had a good day!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the leaves you quilted in the border. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYou can make out the leaves in the border and they look fantastic! Do you have a long arm or did you do this on a regular machine? I love the purple star on the quilt, my favorite color and one of my favorite quilting shapes.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Carolyn
I did this on my sewing machine. I think this is the third quilt I've done.
