Chocolate Lemans Cake and Spaghetti Cupcakes

Remember that night we went to the fair?  That's right, it was a couple weeks ago.  Well, my Chef son-in-law had requested me to make him Chocolate Lemans Cake, which isn't even a cake for his birthday.  And my DD2 had requested DD3 to make him Spaghetti Cupcakes as a surprise.  Are you keeping up with this?  Let me say it clearly; the Chef is getting TWO desserts on his birthday.

When I got home from the Fair Serena was already working on the cupcakes.  I set to work on the Chocolate Lemans Cake.

My kitchen has NEVER looked this messy!  I just had to snap a picture.  We laughed and giggled as we worked together on our two separate desserts.

Chocolate Lemans Cake's 1st layer ready to bake

2nd layer of cream cheese, powdered sugar, cool whip added to the baked and cooled layer.
As you can see the baked layer doesn't look that much darker than the unbaked layer

Cupcakes are good and "Noodled"

3rd layer - One small instant pudding and 1 1/4 cup milk

Opening Meatballs

4 layer - small instant pudding and 1/14 cup milk

Add Strawberry Jelly and Grated White Chocolate (Parmesan Cheese)

Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with walnuts.
Oh so Yummy!  And so much fun!  We are going to have to do this again!

  3. Oh those spaghetti cupcakes look oh so cute!! My mom has a similar recipe for the "cake" but hers calls for the choc and vanilla pudding mixed together. We always called it 4 layer dessert. ha! However it comes together, it is one of my FAVES and I always request it when I go home. :) Looks like you guys had a great time cooking together. :)
