20 Minutes - Drop & Give Me Twenty

Yea!  Quilting Hottie Haven is having a linky party!!

Don't you just love quilting with others?

Click here or on the button on my side bar to join too.

Here's my pledge:

I, Linda, owner of several UFO’s that I have promised to finish yet never have, promise once again to join Quilting Hottie Haven’s third annual DaGMT event and to quilt for at least 20 minutes each night for the month of February 2014, thereby at least making some sort of progress on the afore mentioned UFO’s and  enabling me to keep my word to my hubby that “yes I’m working on them and I will finish them”…..“Someday I promise.”  The only exception is:  the day when my daughter goes into labor and then I promise to  think and wish I was  working on them.

And furthermore, I think Beth Helfter is brilliant for coming up with this concept and inspiring me to join.  She really is!

  1. I have been KNEE deep in finishes. Two quilts are quilt and bound, one needs only the handwork on the binding. Now I am off to make a bag for a trip that is coming up. I too have vowed to finish more and start less. Almost thru January...doing OK!!!! XXX

  2. I think taking the day off when your daughter goes into labor is reasonable. Hopefully you will have a new quilt ready to wrap your new grandson/daughter in when he/she arrives. Congratulations on the new baby and on your commitment to DaGMT.

  3. I agree with Carrie. Taking that day off is entirely reasonable. But don't think I will let you have two days off in a row! :)

    Good to have you along!

  4. Good luck with your commitment and as one who has played that daughter-having-a-baby three times now, all I can say is bring some hand work to the waiting room! I'm just kidding~ congratulations!
