Thank you all for your kinds comments to my last post. I can't tell you how much they have lighten my burden.
Oh Dear! Here it is Jan 28th and I finally ready to write my post about Jan goals. Is it too late? Thank goodness I had only one goal.
Goal #1: To start and finish a baby quilt for my Darling Daughter Angela - who is due Feb 6th! (Can you tell I'm excited?)
My daugher and son-in-law adore cats. So what better baby quilt than Cats in Pajamas by Jane Tenorio-Coscarelli. I actually bought the quilt pattern years ago - I was going to make the quilt for me someday. But making it for the new parents is so much better. I started this Jan 2nd.
Okay - totally not the greatest picture. Since I took this picture I've put on two borders, the noses, mouths and whiskers. I'll try to take a picture today and update this. Hopefully I'll start working on the eyes tonight too.
Did I meantion the Doctor said it would be a little girl? So I used some of my daughters favorite fabrics. So fun!
Happy Stitching,
Linda
That is going to be one adorable baby quilt. I've never seen the pattern--it's a cute one.
