I had to put the brakes on my sewing.

Just for this week.
My husband's mother and brother have come out from New Mexico to visit.

Don't you hate when that happens?  You have to stop sewing and clean the house?  Such a rude awakening.

I did, however, cut out and get this little summer blouse made.
It's for my daughter - It's nothing to sew up, as there's hardly any fabric to it.  (or seams!)
Also, I've been working on the dish towels.
Time is running out on this project as it's for a wedding this month.  But even that deadline threat doesn't make me work on it.

Tonight I'll get it out while we are visiting.  (I promise.)

Happy Stitching,
Linda

  1. Having a clean house is so over-rated! Get back to stitching my friend. That little top is adorable. Oh to be young and thin.

  3. I agree with Sunny. My house is clean, but rarely tidy. LOL Love the little top! My DD would like it too. Can you tell me the pattern? Happy stitchin'!

  4. Love your comment about the house cleaning and visitors!! LOL!! I REALLY have to clean when there are visitors because my sewing room is the dining room table and they walk right through it all on the way to the living room. Hope you all have a good visit though! Hugs, H

  5. Hee hee - yes having to clean instead of sew is a rude awakening. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your Mom-in-law and brother-in-law!
