Friday Night Sew in Results

Are you surprised to see me posting on Saturday about my Friday Night Sew-in results?  Boy oh Boy I sure am!!

So here's what happened.

Hubby very graciously volunteered to help me by ironing the backing for my quilt.

I was a bit tired and just sat back enjoying the life of leisure.
This was my world last night; me and KitKat watching.  (It was so fun)

Then we had to run to WalMart to buy some blue painter's tape and a few other thing like cereal and milk.  Unbelievably it took us only 15 minutes to spend $73.00.

So after ironing and pinning we now have the quilt sandwiched.

And this morning I'll start quilting it.

Happy Sewing,
Linda

  3. Okay, I have so much to say here. First, Wow! You had him ironing while you laid back?! Cool! Second, Kit Kat is so cute. I just love that dog. Third, your quilt is so amazing. I want it! Fourth, I can't believe you got it all based and are ready to quilt it now! Fifth, I can rack up a grocery bill pretty fast, too. :-) I thought you were going to say you were amazed you could get in and out of Wally World in 15 min! Haha! That would have been more shocking to me. I usually spend that much time just in the check-out line! LOL. Can't wait to see how your quilt comes out. Your FNSI was very productive!
