KitKat and her Surprises

Would you all like to hear a funny story about one of my dogs?

Good, cause that's what this post is going to be about.

I have this little dog KitKat.  She's a little bitty thing - less than 12 inches high.

She's really pretty good.  Doesn't chew things up - or do other bad stuff.

Well, lately she's been leaving me presents in the morning.  Yep, you know what I'm talking about.  I've heard tale of crating little dogs with bad manners.  So I took the time to teach her to "Kennel" using treats to get her to go in the crate by herself.  Okay she likes the crate.  Later that night I put her in - gave her plenty of treats and locked the door.

And this is what I found in the morning:

Oh no Mommy - you are not locking ME up!
Can you see those little plastic pieces? She had chewed her way out - but still slept in it!! I laughed and laughed!  How in the world did she chew that crate wall up? Oh and that little poop poop problem?  There's been none of that since.  Strange little doggie.

If you don't mind I think I'll sleep with my head hanging out the crate for a while.  Then  you can clean up this mess.  And I would like ham and eggs for breakfast.
I sure hope your day has a nice surprise in it.

  1. Giggle, LOL, hehe!!! :):) That is so funny. Dont cha just love the antics of our fur babies?! Life would just not be the same with out them :O) Hugs

  2. THat's hilarious! Chewed her way out, but still slept in there. Aren't our animals just the greatest?

  3. That is hilarious!! What a rascal she is -- albeit incredibly loveable! And I'm sure you got right on that eggs and ham breakfast order, too! ;)

  4. Oh My--animals--pets--can be so funny sometimes--
Miss gracie thinks she has to have a couple leaves of my salad every night--and it has to be a special one--
and it is the only 'people' food she eats--
and she also had to 'smell' everything I eat--
like I have to get her approval that it is 'safe' or something!!!!
Hugs, Di and that Miss gracie

  5. Oh Linda what would we do without them!! How can we stay mad at them for long, they know exactly how to get round you. She must have got some good teeth too! Oh well at last it worked and stopped the little presents. Hugs xx

  6. What a wonderful story, and the pictures are great too.

  7. Loved the story and shared it with my daughters. We all had a giggle!

  8. Oh my goodness! Guess she was determined not to sleep in the crate. Thanks for sharing the story and the photos.

  9. Just love your story. They are just so much fun.I have just got a new puppy and I love it. Never a dull moment now.
    Big cuddles for Kitkat.

  10. I love that story. I had a dog that hated being crated. She'd cry and cry until she threw up all over in the crate. I've never had a dog like that since or before! Your little Kitkat is too cute!
