When I can't sew......

Poor Me!  I can't sew. Life is so strange when I can't do the things I'm accustomed to doing.  I received a cortisone shot is my hand for trigger finger, only I have trigger thumb.  That got a good laugh at work. It  was weird to wander around the house and not do things with my hands (like dishes, cooking and cleaning, but mostly sewing).

I say poor me, but not really.  I'm doing fine.  I'm typing this left handed. Which is funny because it causes me to want to transpose many of the words.  And I realize some words are great - like start - that's all typed with the left hand, as is water, and crate.  And other words are quite difficult like auditorium.  There's normally a lot of right and left hand typing in that one. I miss type that word a lot.

Another good thing to come from this is it made my daughter help me start a garden.  I made her dig the mounds for the eggplant, cantaloupe and squash. And glue the seed packets to the stakes.  We used paint sticks for the stakes.

It's good to get out and do something different together.  I know nothing about gardening so I think we will be lucky if anything grows!

Yep!  It looks like dirt!

I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend!
