I'm happy enough with my quilting. I like doing free motion quilting and lucky me I have a bunch of finished tops to practice on! The day I finished it a co-worker's daughter gave birth to a little girl. I wrapped it up with a little baby book and send it her way. I hope she likes it.

Wow! I haven't been brave enough to try that yet. How much did you practice before you started on an actual quilt top? Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteYou did a beautiful job! Good for you.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! Great job...I'm positive she will LOVE it too!!!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question Sunny, I did take a class and sort of learned some basics. I don't think I spent that much time practicing. Just some each day (15 min to 1/2 hour) and filled up a 18" by 18" block. It was really fun.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! Good for you. I still haven't gotten that brave! Good for you! She will love it!
ReplyDeleteWoww. That looks great.
