Look what I found. Cheery, happy fabric. (And inexpensive!) There's even little silver glitterly lines around the ladybugs.
Just right for the backing.
And I've gotten my quilt all sandwiched.
As I've been practicing my freemotion, I can't seem to get in the groove. Wow, I just realized, it's been a year since I quilted Angela's quilt. No wonder I'm rusty!
My machine probably don't even know who I am! LOL
Happy Stitching,
Linda
Great find for you backing! The quilt is lovely. I guess you just need more practice on the quilting.

Cute backing! You'll get back in the groove soon. I've done a ton of quilting this year, and I'm finally feeling more confident. But my skills aren't good enough to work on a regular sewing machine. I admire what you do!!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet backing.. I'm sure it won't be long before you're in the swing of FMQ
ReplyDeleteAmazing backing find! I always love a bargain and glitter x
ReplyDeleteI am swooning over this quilt - so happy, so retro, so darling!!!! Fantastic fabric!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll find that groove without doubt. The only projects I quilt myself are on the smaller side, mostly due to lack of skill. I have a big floor pillow to quilt right now and keep procrastinating.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt top is so pretty and what fabulous fabric you found for the backing. Those ladybugs are very cute. Happy quilting!
ReplyDeleteThe backing is perfect for the quilt Linda! I'm sure yo've got back into the groove of your fmq by now - hope the quilting is going well :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have the same machine as me
