Cross Stitch is Started

Thank you so much for the suggestions.
I've gotten my threads labeled and organized.
One thing I thought was funny were the comments that others have started a X-Stitch project and it's sitting in a drawer unfinished.  I fully expect that to happen to me too.  However, eventually it will get done.  And if not, who cares?

So here is my start.

Also, and unfortunately, comments are not coming through to my email.  So I'm sorry I can not reply back.  I don't know why this hit be so much later than everyone else.  Di of Quilting is Blissful gave me a suggestion to remedy this -  I hope it works.

Happy Stitching,
Linda

  1. Looks like a good start--I seem to go through phases of counted cross stitch--like every other year--I have done a nice series so far this year--of abc samplers--have 3 all done-and the abc's done on the Summer one and the Fall one and am now doing the designs on the Fall one--with hopes I can get this one done in time to actually display during Fall???

  2. A great start on the cross stitch - and it's more about the journey than the destination, right?

I also have no comments coming to me via email anymore. Hope you figure it out and then share the info. :-)

  3. I love cross stitch! Must find more time to work on it. Maybe I need to start something new to take with me on vacation?? Read back on my blog to the "Let the Commenting Commence". I shared a link from another blog that told how to get the emails. It worked for me! GOod luck.

  4. I think cross stitch is a craft that you pick it up and continue when you will. I look forward to seeing the progress of this sweet cross stitch.
