I have the quilt top ready for borders.
Of course two seconds later Marzipan was in the center of it.
It's almost impossible to get anything done with her!
I'm working on doing a scalloped border. I did one before and have a ruler for it. But that was 10 years ago. I can't find the ruler nor do I remember the name of it. So I'm doing some paper and pen drafting.
I hope it works. 😜
Nice to work with all of you on Friday Night.
Linda
I assume you've made Marzipan her own quilt?? But she wants to be front and center with whatever you're working on. Your quilt looks great. I love all the turtles. Good luck with your scalloped border. I'm challenged by them, and have only done a couple on small quilts.
ReplyDeleteYep, pets on quilts: they always find the center, don't they?!! :-) And I know you'll do a great job on the scalloped border: that's a great idea to go along with the water theme. Hugs, H
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is sooo cute! and doggie approved, even better. ;o)
ReplyDeleteI went back and searched your blog and didn't find a mention...is there a pattern for the turtle quilt or did you design it yourself?
ReplyDeleteDogs know a beautiful quilt when they see one Linda! Great work!
ReplyDeleteLove this quilt perfect pairing of blocks..beautiful work hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteYour quilt top looks great! I see you got the block that you didn't like fixed. The scalloped edge will look really good on this too.
ReplyDeleteI love it... xox
